In a continued effort to improve the Perkinston campus, MGCCC invested in a new basketball arena for its men's and women's basketball teams. The new multi-purpose arena was designed by Allred-Stolarski Architects and features state-of-the-art amenities. BMA performed topographic survey, engineering design services, and construction engineering services for the project.
The project included a new 1,540-seat arena with approximately 100 new parking spaces, wraparound drive and drop off area, and front plaza area. The site had to be shaped to have a second-floor entry at the front and a ground floor entry in the rear of the building. Site utilities, including a new pump station, were extended to the project area.
